Contact lenses have many advantages. Because they are directly on the eye, they ensue re perfect vision and can be combined with sunglasses. Lenses are not fashion-sensitive and leave your face free. In addition, they do not fog up, are ideal for sports and you can even use them to modify the color of your eyes.
A real breakthrough: orthokeratology (ortho-k lenses), or the “knowledge of night lenses”. These innovative lenses do their job at night, so you can see well during the day without using glasses or contact lenses. Ideal if you quickly suffer from dry eyes, for example, if you spend a lot of time at a screen or if you work in a dusty environment.
Night lenses;
- are suitable for deviation of -050 to -500, with a cylinder up to -150,
- halt myopia progression in children,
- will often let Children experience perfect vision after 1 night,
- work only as long as you wear them: if you stop, everything will return to normal after a few nights.

Because soft contact lenses bind a layer of tear fluid to them, they wear comfortably from day 1. However, they also attract dirt, so you have to take extra good care of them.
- are very suitable if you are going to be exercising,
- sit comfortably from the first moment, build up to normal use doesn’t take long,
- cover a larger part of the eye so that you have less trouble with dust,
- are available from stock, so are readily available,
- come in different shades that can change or accentuate your own color.

Hard contact lenses are rigid and nowadays always gas permeable, so that the eye can simply ‘breathe’ e.g. rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses.
Hard contact lenses;
- can correct practically any optical aberration,
- are available in any strength,
- limit the increase in eye abnormalities,
- last a long time and the chance of loss is small,
- are the most economical maintenance-wise.
